Roman Chamomile Seeds

Roman chamomile is a low-growing perennial plant. It produces aromatic, beautiful white flowers that grow 7.5-10 cm (3-4′) tall. The flowers can tolerate light foot traffic and are often grown to fill in the space between patio stones. Flowers can be used to make delicious tea!

How to Germinate Roman Chamomile Seeds

Chamomile prefers full sun and well-draining soil of poor to average quality. Lightly cover seeds with soil and spaced 3-6″ apart. Keep soil moist, and do not allow it to dry out. The optimal germination temperature of chamomile seeds is around 19 C. Germination may take anywhere between 1-2 weeks.

If sowing directly outdoors, soak the earth, press the seeds into the soil and then lightly cover them. Chamomile prefers full sun.
