Lisianthus Rosanne Bright Green .

The Lisianthus Rosanne Bright Green is characterised by unique, special colour. The full, double flowers (2-3 in. diameter) with hard petals on strong stems ensuring good transportability without damage. Vase life is excellent and the trendy colours make fantastic bouquets.

Lisianthus is also known as prairie gentian, Texas bluebell, and showy prairie gentian.
Seeds have been coated with conventional pellets

SOWING:
Transplant: Greenhouse production is highly recommended. Sow 12-13 weeks in deep cell packsbefore last frost. Light is needed for germination, but a fine layer of vermiculite covering the seed will help control algae growth. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not saturated and maintain 70-75°F (21-24°C) soil temperature. Provide good air circulation until emergence. Reduce moisture levels once emergence has occurred and allow to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent algae growth. After emergence, reduce the temperature to 60-70°F (16-21°C). Avoid stressing the plants with high temperatures over 85°C (29°C) and overwatering during this stage to prevent rosetting (the resting stage). Early transplanting is recommended. Transplant no later than the fourth leaf stage, approximately 55-60 days. Direct seeding is not recommended.
GROWING LISIANTHUS FROM SEED IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NOVICE SEED STARTERS.Although lisianthus may not be difficult to germinate (7-14 days), they are difficult to grow on to transplant for two reasons:
Time: Expect to maintain the plants for 8-10 weeks before transplanting. Letting them dry out or over watering just once can cause issues, so plan accordingly.
Temperatures: To avoid rosetting and poor blooming, keep cool temperatures at night 55-59°F and days between 72-80°F until transplant. This generally can not be maintained on a light stand.
