I have a Bachelor of Science from Park University. I have spent the last 6 years working with middle and elementary school teams on STEM concepts to compete in regional tournaments. I have also worked with kindergarten age children, teaching them basic math and reading. I have worked with Northside 3rd graders to prep for the STAAR test. I also have a 15 year old son who struggles with ADHD and a learning disability. He struggled with learning basic math skills in elementary school. I did a lot of research and teaching through the years. I will work with your child to learn to basic math skills. I will develop lessons that adapt to their style of learning. I will help them get their math level up to grade level standard and meet the TEKs for that grade level. I am available afternoons, evenings and weekends.
