The New England Primer - 1777 - this is a replica of that early primer - paperback with a hard paper covers - 4.5" x 3.5" - excellent condition this was printed in 1991 by Wall Builder Press - This version uses the Old English alphabet, exactly as it was printed, and the letter "s" is sometimes represented by an "s" and other times by what appears to be an "f." - it is amazing to see what the early school book contained - this is probably about the size of the original books back in the 1700's -- asking $2.50 REDUCED $1.50
