1950's celluloid Native American Indian Chief and his family. Lots of great detail, these toy figures are made of celluloid, an early hard plastic. He stands proud in a large headress with arms crossed. She has black braids and wears traditional dress. A wonderful example of mid century American play toys.
The Chief Indian figure measures 6" tall. Nice vintage condition for their age. They show some signs of wear and discoloration, adding to their great charm.
A neat old set of toys to display or add to your collection.
I've read that these toys were given away to donors of the Labre Indian School in Montana.
