This 2 piece woodturned birdhouse is turned from Ash, which easily comes apart for easy clean out of the old nest in fall or early spring. Also comes with a large hook for hanging from a tree.

Features antique silver hardware and glass crystals. Ornamental hardware is placed directly below the entrance hole serving as a perch for birds to enter..

33" long by approx. 7" dia. Nesting cavity is 4" wide by 6" deep with a 1 1/4" entrance hole Suitable for chickadees, warblers, nuthatches and smaller species of woodpeckers.

Finished with a light antiqued stain. Can easily recoat within a couple years time, or let it weather naturally for a rustic gray look.

Nesting cavity is left unfinished and rough (like the inside of an old rotten tree) so baby birds can more easily climb out to make that first flight
