I have put a dark walnut stain on both the table and bench tops. The bottoms have been painted a chalk paint white and I have coated the entire kitchen table and bench in sealant for added protection. This also comes with four wrap around metal very sturdy! chairs. This is a super heavy and solid piece that will last a lifetime!
