The Fostoria Amber Bicentennial Tavern Beer Mug 1776-1976 was made to celebrate the USA  Bicentennial in 1976. On the bottom is embossed: "Bicentennial Tavern Mug 1776-1976." It stands 5-3/4 inches in height and measures 3-1/8 inches in diameter. It is well made of very heavy amber glass with a bottom nearly 1 inch thick. The raised tavern scene wraps around the outside of the mug.
