Working lamp. Marked on the rear lower edge is © 1954 Patent Pending (pic 2). There are later versions that have only the front part of the lamp, and the back is flat. This one is NOT one of those. The roof sets on pins and is made to lift off and the boy and girl lift off. Base is 12 7/8" wide--about 14" to the edge of the figurines by 9" deep and about 10 1/2" tall with the roof on. Weight is 11 lb. 13 oz. Switch, socket, and wiring all work. The light bulb goes underneath (pic 3). The footed bottom has felt over it. There is a chip on the very top of the pagoda . The male and female figures have been broken and someone glued the pieces back together (pics 4and 5).
