This gorgeous, solid wood, antique tall boy dresser has been lovingly restored using only materials appropriate to the period. Made by rural craftsman in the late 1800's it's simple lines and hand dovetail joints give it a timeless look that is perfect for nearly any decor. It has been fully stripped and restored by hand. Only minor repairs were made, such as replacing a few steel draw we stops. The entire frame has been stained a dark walnut tone and buffed by hand several times with tung oil for protection and durability. The drawers and frame inserts have been painted with Miss Mustard Seed's Flow Blue milk paint and hand antiqued. They were then hand buffed with multiple coats of wax. Only the back was left "natural" and just waxed and buffed. The untouched back gives the owner a "secret" peek into the history of the piece, as you can still see where the original craftsman's tag was glued on. One drawer does have a split in the wood (see photo) I did not repair it as I believe it adds to the character of the dresser and because most people use drawer liners, which would cover it. It does not affect the functionality of the drawer at all, however, I will be happy to fix it for free once payment is settled if the new owner prefers. It measures 47" tall, 30" wide, 16 1/2" deep. Please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks
