I have a NEW and unused Ameda breast pump—box is opened to confirm pump does turn on, but, as you can see, the accessories are still sealed in plastic. The contents of the new pump include: 1 double electric breast pump, 1 milk collection system in sealed plastic, instruction manual and DVD.
Please see photos #2 and 3, because I have included extra accessories from the Ameda pump I was using—it kicked the bucket after two babies, so that is why a second pump isn’t included. Keep in mind that both Ameda AND Medela collection bottles work with this system. The additional accessories include: 6 collection bottles, 6 bottle lids, 4 valves, one silicone tubing, 2 diaphragms, 2 adapter caps, 2 tubing adapter, 4 flanges, 1 AC adapter, and 1 Medela travel insulated carrier (fits 4 collection bottles).
Why Ameda?
It’s a CLOSED system! This means that milk cannot enter the tubing and cause bacteria growth. (Medela is an open system—this means it’s not hygienic to resale due to potential for milk getting into pump itself.) The pump takes six AA batteries or you can use the AC adapter. Lastly, you can adjust both pumping speed and suction independently. This brand of pump was able to personalize each pumping session to yield more milk than other brands I tried to use.
