Insurance is a business, not a public service. They have to budget money like a business.

Insurances have their own Adjuster to adjust the payout to homeowner (lower payout for claim.)

You have the right to your own public adjuster, most don't know about this for the reasons above. Insurances do not tell you this for business reasons.

Homeowners insurance is not like auto insurance. The cost of homeowners Insurance rises based on the area's claim history, not on personal/homeowner's claim history.
