The Read! Press! Play! Set features eight interactive books. Four are sound storybooks with 24 pages of story and art. The other four are game books. Each game book features a one-spread story and then unfolds to reveal a game board that can be used to play an interactive board game related to the story’s theme.

The set also contains a module which is a detached talking game spinner that has 17 buttons. 8 buttons are Book/Game selection buttons. The other 9 buttons play sounds and narration unique to each game and/or book. Module also features eight LED lights, and a punch-out card with various pieces that are used with the games.
