Original, complete Brunswick Rifle including original bayonet. Working Belgian style back-lock. Most of the parts seem to be original except for some of the side screws that I replaced and one of the barrel keys which I got from the Rifle Shoppe. Good bore/rifling for age with distinct groves. Unmarked, so most likely used on the Indian Frontier. Comes with what I am pretty sure is an original sling, except for the leather ties at the ends. The sling has a split from the right side through to one of the holes, still a nice original sling though. There is a wood repair on the bottom of the forestock, it’s pretty good work (because I didn’t do it). (See pictures). I hadn’t gotten a chance to finish inlaying the front ramrod pipe into the wood, so that will have to be completed by a new owner. The brass patch cover may or may not be original to rifle. It came with the rifle but required some fitting and my gut tells me it’s a reproduction as I could never get it to latch properly.. Antique status so no PAL needed.
