My kids had a lot of fun with these projects when they were younger, but they have outgrown it, and this great project set is looking for a new home. The foam cutter is meant for kids, but it does require adult supervision because the cutting wire in it heats up. It requires two D batteries (included and they work). We found it safe and relatively easy to use.

Please note that the foam in this project set is not soft and flexible; it is firm and pretty thick, like mounting board.
