Lovely antique cedar chest made by West Branch Novelty Co. I bought it 25 years ago at an antique store in Lewiston, Id. Since then, the exterior has suffered some water damage (see peeling/cracked veneer in images) as well as some other cosmetic damage. The interior is in perfect condition and still smells strongly of cedar. The chest did not have a tray when I purchased it - though the stamp underneath indicates it should.
