All of my plants have been watered with chlorine free water. Please note that most of the plants do not need to be repotted yet- if they do, I will specify. They have all been in their current pots 3 weeks- several months.
WATERING: Allow this plant to dry out between watering- do not water until the soil in the top couple of inches is dry. This will stop those little fruit fly like mold gnats from getting into your soil. When you water, do not let the plant pot sit in the residual water or root rot will occur and cause leaf drop.
LIGHT: This plant likes indirect bright light. (Do not allow it to be in direct sunlight between the hours of 10-5 pm) do not allow the leaves to be up against your window as it may burn.
About this plant: Are you ready for your Monstera? These babies can get HUGE: a vining plant that puts out aerial roots that you can leave on or prune. The holes in the leaves, called fenestrations, become more pronounced with each new leaf, giving the plant it’s common name of Swiss Cheese plant. Enjoy this one- it may be small now, but watch out!
