With her Handmaiden's Tale, by now Margaret Atwood has become a very famous author world wide - but she is all Canadian. And that's what makes this particular book special. It is a first Edition with Dust Jacket of a very early book in her career - 1976 - see how young she looks on the back cover. The original price is not clipped off of the jacket and the book is covered in protective mylar. It has some age wear and a sticker scar from a removed name tag. Solid and clean with no scent. Also Included is a book of poems by Margaret Atwood " Morning in the Burned House" it too is a First Edition. It is a hard cover with dust jacket and has a neat previous owner inscription in the front.
