This 70s acoustic guitar is in fantastic condition! I have yet to see one in this great of condition. Plays and sounds amazing! Comes with original case with beautiful purple felt inside.

Between 1975 and 1978, Gibson produced the Mark Series of flattop acoustics which were designed by Michael Kasha and Richard Schneider, Gibson's best luthier at the time. These guitars have a 16 3/16-inch wide body and are narrower at the waist than a normal dreadnought. Some innovative features offered with the Mark Series are a modified fan-pattern bracing style, an asymmetrical bridge, a removable pick-guard, and interchangeable saddles. The MK-35 specifically has Mahogany for its back and sides, dot inlays and a three-piece Rosewood fingerboard.

Truly Special & Unique! I believe less than 5000 of the MK Series were made. MK-35 Mahogany / MK-53 Maple / MK-72 Rosewood and a MK-81 handmade by Richard Schneider.
