Hi there, i Am on AISH for a couple psychiatric Illnesses and I have a cat named Karma who was adopted for me in February to help with my mental health. She required blood work on Friday and thanks to a lovely person she managed to have it done but now she requires an x ray to see if her heart or lungs is what’s causing her to be sick. I can’t afford an x ray. I have pet insurance however I found out they will not cover respiratory issues because she had URV when she came home from the shelter. This was very unexpected and I’m incredibly worried about we. Parachutes for pets is tapped out for the year and I don’t know who else to call, she needs X-rays done because she is not getting any better. I am now worried she has fluid under her skin as well which x ray will be able to tell. Im hoping to get her in today. She may require some other treatment as well or medication but I’m unsure yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I could call for help? She’s incredibly special to me, she brought me out of a dark place and I can’t lose her because she is really all I have. I need suggestions or help of who to call as soon as possible please.
