Vintage Anchor-Hocking Shot Clear Glass 1947.
This Shot Glass has the 2 Ounce Pour Line etched into the glass.
The traditional “Anchor and H entwined” logo is marked on the bottom along with “47”, made in 1947, and “2”, made at Plant No. 2, Lancaster, Ohio.
The Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation was formed in 1937 due to the merger of the Hocking Glass Company of Lancaster, Ohio (which began in 1905) and the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation in Salem, New Jersey (which started in 1913).
This is approximately 2 3/4” tall, 1 1/4” in diameter at the base, and 1 3/4” at the top. There is a tiny chip and two marks on the glass, but the rim is smooth.
