Vintage Pitcher, Dryden Pottery, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
This beautiful picture features warm browns with a high-gloss glaze.
“Dryden, Hot Spgs., Ark.” is stamped on the unglazed bottom.
Dryden Pottery was founded in 1946 in Ellsworth, Kansas, by Alan James Dryden, aka “Jimmy”, who relocated his business to Hot Springs, Arkansas, in 1956. Dryden Pottery has become collectible and has been listed in Schroeder’s Antique Guide for many years. Well known for high-quality craftsmanship and bright glaze colors. Three generations of the Dryden family have been producing pottery continually for over 75 years! Currently, grandson Zackery J. Dryden is making “World Famous” handmade American Art Pottery daily! Original Family owned, the third generation operated.
The large pitcher is approximately 8 1/2” tall and about 6” at the widest point.
This is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or marks.
