This figurine was used in The Tom Smith & Co - Party Crackers 1988 - Nursery Rhyme Series & Misc Boxes of Crackers in 1989

Of all the many Wade Whimsies Tea Promotions figurines that have been produced since 1967. Probably the most famous, recognisable & still (to this day) very popular series ever made would have to be the Canadian Red Rose Tea Nursery Rhyme Series or “Nurseries”.

First introduced in 1971 the theme of this second promotion/series was based upon children’s nursery rhymes & fairy tales & became an instant success, it would run until 1979.

All the figurines in this series were hand decorated & some very interesting variations can be found.
