Antique early 1900's Majolica hand painted Hibiscus basket weave design round salad platter/bowl with handles, excellent condition with only minor wear for it's age. This lovely lemon yellow colored dish has a relief plum red flower & green leaves on a basket weave background with a rope-like trim. There are three manufacturing glaze irregularities found around outer rim, and one under handle corner. A small chip appears on footed edge, and crazing of glaze is noted on backside only. A couple small black specks from manufacture and 2 more imperfection from the time of production are present at center. Made by the Zell factory circa 1907-1928 Measurements are 11 7/8” diameter (13 1/2” with handles) X 2” tall at handles/1 1/2” tall sides. N/S N/P home, asking $135 firm.
